Woodstock (formerly known as Papendorp) is one of Cape Town’s oldest suburbs. It is located between the docks of Table Bay and the lower slopes of Devil's Peak, about one kilometre east of the Cape Town city centre. The suburb has views of the harbour to the north and Table Mountain to the south. Many companies have set up shop here which has boosted both the commercial and residential property markets. It has also ensured that Woodstock is abuzz with activity. The suburb has recently been part of the inner-city revival that has changed the face of many suburbs adjacent to the city centre. |
